Judy Vandiver is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born and raised in Southeast Texas, but comes from a strong Cajun heritage. She loves words. If she isn’t writing, she’s more than likely talking.

Friends comment that her telling of everyday life becomes an interesting story. She says she likes to turn ordinary circumstances into extraordinary moments by looking at things from God’s perspective. And you’ll almost always find her quick wit and humor buried in her writing style.

Judy is a country girl at heart and loves porch swings, wildflowers, cold lemonade, and the grace of God. Her theme is Writing for God’s Glory, and it’s also the name of her small publishing company used for her Indie books.

Judy has written three novels. One is with an agent, one is being polished, and the third one has been published. She has also written two devotional books and one book about finding and having a writing partner. Her books can be found here.

She has also published skits, articles, devotionals, and short true stories for Lillenas Press, The War Cry magazine, and Guidepost books. She has won several writing contests and loves to encourage new writers. (See her writing guides for new and established authors here.)

Judy is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) National, ACFW – The Woodlands Chapter, Wordweavers International Online, and Bay Area Writers league (Webster, TX.).

The stories of her novels are fiction, but the God of the stories is real.
