My Latest Manuscript Is Finished
After months of editing, revising, and polishing every last page, I’m happy to say that When Justice Sleeps (working title) is finished.
Every writer knows the moment. You read the final chapter one more time, fix the last stubborn sentence, adjust a comma or two, and suddenly realize there’s nothing left to change. The story has said everything it needs to say.
This book has taken me on quite a journey.
When Justice Sleeps began as a mystery, but along the way it became something deeper—a story about what happens when truth collides with the lives of ordinary people and refuses to stay hidden.
The story asks a question I think many of us quietly wrestle with:
What happens when people try to carry justice on their own shoulders?
I’m excited to begin the next stage of the journey for this manuscript. There are still several steps ahead, and I’ll be sharing more about that process in the weeks to come.
For now, I’m grateful. Grateful for the story, for the lessons it taught me while writing it, and for the readers who enjoy stories where mystery, faith, and redemption walk side by side.
And a huge thank you to my editor, Barbara Oden. She’s fantastic.
More updates soon.
